Donation and Pledge Options

If you would like to direct your donation to a specific program, please indicate your selection in the Designated Fund field when you donate online or on the memo line of your check. Unspecified donations will be applied to the Food Bank Operations Fund.

The Food Bank Operations Fund

This fund supports our food distribution programs and day to day operations of the Snohomish Community Food Bank. We are a non-profit organization concerned for the welfare of people within our community. With dignity and respect, we serve all residents in need who live within the Snohomish School District boundaries. However, no hungry individual or family will ever be turned away on their first visit regardless of residency. We graciously provide emergency food assistance and refer them to the food bank serving their community.

Food-2-Go Program

This program provides weekend groceries to “homeless” middle and high school students. These young adults are facing a world of uncertainty and Food-2-Go takes away the stress of buying their own food.

Home Delivery Program

Our Home Delivery Program is essential to providing nutritious food for our most vulnerable clients: the elderly and disabled. Once a week we personally call each client for a wellness check and grocery order. Then a team of volunteers box and deliver the groceries right to their doorstep.

Infant Program

Our Infant Program provides formula, baby food, infant cereal and diapers to families with babies. We distribute an average of 90 infant bags each month ensuring our infants and toddlers have a healthy first step. Sponsored by funds from local Kiwanis Clubs.

Kids Café

All area kids age 18 and younger are invited to join our Kids Café summer breakfast and lunch program. There is no pre-registration or sign-up. Kids just need to show up and enjoy a great breakfast and/or lunch. Over 23,000 free breakfasts and lunches were served during the summer of 2017. This is a collaborative effort with the Snohomish School District, Boys and Girls Club, the Snohomish Community Food Bank and over 190 community volunteers. Supported by funds from Kohl’s, Bickford Motors and Chartwell.

Pet Food Program

Where people and pets unite, our Pet Food program provides a minimum of pet food to alleviate the weekly grocery bill for our families. We do not budget or purchase for this program. It is supported solely through donations. Sponsored in part by Purrfect Pals, Pasado’s Safe Haven and Homeward Pet.

Pre-Pack Program

Our Pre-Pack Program provides groceries for the homeless and other clients who do not have access to regular cooking facilities. We pack bags with food that is easy to open and prepare and when available, self-heating meals. We also include fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and supplies at the time of service.

Snohomish Special Service Shuttle Fund

In partnership with the Community Kitchen, Senior Center and under the direction of the Zion Lutheran Church, we provide a drop off service to our clients who live within the Snohomish city limits. Tuesdays between 3:00-5:30 the shuttle will furnish clients with a ride home making it possible to provide more food for their families.

Generator Fund

We need a generator that will protect our electrical power in the event of an outage. We have a walk-in cooler, two walk-in freezers, two chest freezers and two refrigerated display units for client food distribution. If we lost power, we would lose thousands of dollars of nutritious food.

In Honor of, or Memorial Gifts

A donation made in honor of, or in memory of, is a wonderful way to recognize someone special in your life and a caring way to show your support.

Employer Matching Gifts

Many employers match donations made to non-profit organizations. Most of these programs will match your contribution dollar-for-dollar, doubling your gift-giving. Check with your employer to see if they can make your donation go even further.
